It may sound strange but flowers have their own language. Of course they can't speak but can express our emotions and tell about our feelings. If you present someone certain flowers, it is necessary to consult the language of flowers.

Every nation gives their own significance to flowers, but there are traditional trends in the language of flowers. Besides, the number of flowers in the posy is important also. So:

One flower means – you are everything I've got.

Three flowers - I want to escape with you.

Five flowers– I love you!

Seven flowers are traditionally presented on wedding or engagement.

Nine flowers – I respect you.

Ten flowers - I want to do something for you.

Eleven flowers – You are my friend.

Twelve flowers – Everything is so complicated, but everything is going to be ok.

Thirteen flowers – I hate you.

Fourteen flowers – you are everything I have

Fifteen flowers – I am grateful and I respect you.

The colour of the flowers is also very important. And every colour may tell a person about the attitude of a person to others.

Red flowers – is the colour of love and passion. It also means respect, congratulations and success.

Rosy flowers mean youth and shyness. Such flowers also express gracefulness and beauty. It is a good way to accentuate the youth of a person to whom you want to present flowers. It is a best way to say "I love you" if you are not ready to say it.

White flowers express shyness, charm, cleanness, mystery and silence.

Yellow flowers mean joy and pleasure but there is also a negative meaning of such flowers – betray and parting. It is not recommended to give such flowers to a person you love. In traditions of some countries (Spain) yellow flowers are brought for funeral.

Blue flowers are the image of cold, energy, eternity, sadness.

And of course the flower you choose also may tell a lot.

Roses mean beauty, love, passion, tenderness. These flowers also mean luxury and are traditionally given to boyfriends and girlfriends, wives and husbands, lovers.

Tulips are flowers that may say "We are friends" and "We are enemies". But these flowers are also given to elder people and demonstrate respect.

Aster is a flower of beauty and love. According to legend it appeared from the tears of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.

Marigold means loyalty. These flowers are traditionally given to wives by husbands and by wives to husbands.

Carnation is a flower that expresses sympathy and admiring. These flowers are frequently given to men.

Daisies are flowers that mean that a person is behaves naturally and is honest with you. But they also may mean that a person to whom these flowers are given is also honest.

Daffodil is a flower for those who are in love with themselves. That is why consider this fact if you get this flower. Maybe in such way a person wants to tell you to pay less attention to yourself.

So be attentive while choosing the posy and speak to a person in the language of flowers. A posy may have a secret meaning. So pay attention to flowers you get, maybe a person wants to tell you something that he/she is not ready to express with words.
